We no longer sell seasoned logs!!
In 2022 a law came in that made it illegal to sell wood with a moisture content higher than 20% to reduce air pollution caused by burning wet wood. All firewood must be certified as compliant by Woodsure and bear the "Ready to Burn"  logo, this is the law! However this moisture content is very hard to achieve all year round. Added to this as many of you know we recently suffered a serious industrial accident, which has limited our ability to produce the quantity of logs we were selling. Because of these two factors we have taken the difficult decision to no longer sell seasoned wood  and focus all our efforts on kiln dried logs, which we can guarantee are of the highest quality no matter what time of year it is. We hope that by doing this we can provide a better service and shorter lead times even during our busiest periods. 
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our seasoned log customers for their support and custom over the years. We would also like to urge anyone who would normally buy seasoned firewood from us to try our "Ready to Burn" certified  kiln dried logs, they produce much more heat while reducing the amount of pollution, tar and ash they produce, they are also much easier to light and burn.
